Bio: Raised in dairy country of Brunswick Junction, Western Australia, I've always had a love of country Australia. My family had a property in the hills, running cows and developing passionfruit vines. Unfortunately, during Cyclone Alby in 1978 a fire came through and destroyed the vines and the processing plant, all established and ready to go commercial. I knew I wanted to be a Farm Advisor (if I wasn't returning to the farm) and studied at Muresk in Northam, WA. Starting my career as a Farm Management Consultant with BankWest, after 8 years my wife and I took the opportunity to join with a private consulting business, Farmanco - where I've been a Farm Advisor since 1997. After 18 years based with Farmanco in Western Australia, we moved to Albury, NSW to establish our first eastern states office. I've come across some interesting things in my time as an Advisor, met some amazing people and thought I'd share some of the stories.
